Senior Motor Claims officer
My major responsibilities are to: • Registering claims for the insured • Receiving telephone calls from the insured and third property insured. • Providing appropriate information according to the needs of the insured and supporting the clients to understand the claim procedure. • Assigning and informing the insured, Tp insured about the details of the Garage. • Handling complaints of the insured and Tp insured. • Informing the insured that what is covered in his policy according to the terms and conditions of the policy. • Issuing approvals (lpos) of the vehicles • Approving cash settlement to the Tp insured and our insured according to the estimates of the workshops. • Notifying underwriting department for major claims or excessive claims of an insured so underwriting department can take adequate actions. • Conduct the evaluation of the panel workshops and if any workshop is not performing according to set standards of our company, then informing the senior management to eliminate that workshop from our panel list. • Sending recovery claims notification to other companies and get approval. • Calculate the amount of the vehicle if the vehicle is total loss and then inform the insured about the amount which will be paid. • Convincing agency repair cars to repair outside agency in our A+ Garages. • Dealing with brokers regarding the notification of the claims, and inform them about the claim intimation, settlement and rejection of the claim.

I joined Dubai Insurance as a motor claim officer in 2015.During my job, my major responsibilities were to: • Register claims for the insured (customer) • Guiding customer to the agency • Provide Guidance to the insured in reporting a claim • Dealing with customer complaints and appeals • Handling complaints of the customer and providing them the best solutions • Maintaining quality and customer service standards • Listening the telephone calls of the insured and tp insured • Issuing lpo (approval) for repair of motor vehicle • Sending claims notification to third party insurance company • Contacting the tp insurance company for efficient claim handling • Handling Total loss vehicle and making offer letter for the insured. • Handling test plate, Garage and extended warranty claims • Reviewing the outstanding claims on quarterly basis, and advice the management on the status of major claims such as injury or death claims, and preparing outstanding claims data sheet. • Quarterly reconciliation of all major accounts with regard to their outstanding claims, and loss ratio preparation upon request from recovery department, and underwriting department.
