Job Description

A well-established insurance group who handles both personal and commercial insurance products, now have an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a career in the insurance sector to join them as an Administration Assistant based in their Sheffield branch, where full training will be provided.

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the underwriting team. The role involves dealing with clients over the phone and via e-mail.

We are keen to hear from you if you are looking for a genuine long-term career, are willing to learn, self-motivated and driven. They are less concerned about your current experience and more interested in what you want to achieve!  What you will need are excellent communication skills, both written and oral, the ability to work alone and as part of a team, a positive, can-do attitude, a strong team ethic and the ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.

You will be trained on the processes and procedures require to answer their customers queries, provide insurance quotations, process insurance mid-term adjustments & put forward suitable insurance products to meet the client’s demands and needs. You will also be trained on their administration processes and procedures in order to support their New Business, Existing Business and Renewals teams.

Salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
