Are you looking for your first insurance job in the City and have at least 2-3 years regional commercial broking experience. If so please take 5 minutes of your time to read on, as we have a super opportunity for you here that could provide you with a major springboard in your broking career.
We are recruiting for a well-respected owner managed Lloyds Broker in the City that has gained a worldwide reputation for offering a first-class service within the PI, North American Casualty and medical indemnity/malpractice insurance arenas, with offices in Canada, Malta and London. They are now recruiting for their London office based near Fenchurch Street station.
They provide a great place to work for those who wish to progress their career and stay somewhere for the long term with unlimited internal progression available for the right people and having a genuinely great team culture where everyone gets stuck in! We can attest to this, having worked with them for a number of years and seen several candidates we have placed there gaining successive promotions. So the proof really is in the pudding!!!
They are experiencing massive growth and as such now seek to bring on board two new junior placing brokers. They are happy to consider someone from a regional broker with commercial experience who wants to move into the London Market, and will provide you with all the training you need to develop into the role of a London Market placing broker.

They are keen to speak to those with some exposure to either PI or Liabilities or both, and ideally have the Cert CII qualification (although this part is not essential)
You will be highly professional with a confident demeanour, as well as being extremely driven and highly ambitious, with the ability to maintain and develop business relationships and nurture business accounts with very professional people.
You will be rewarded with a starting basic salary of £28-35k , plus bonuses and other company benefits such as Private Healthcare and Private Dental care plans.
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, with 4 days a week in the office.
