Commercial Account Handler
Job Description
An independent broker, with a busy thriving office, which has continued to show impressive grow within its niche chosen sector now have an opening for an Account Handler to join them and due to a very low turnover of staff, opportunities to join this business don’t come up very often. They offer a stunning rural working environment and a supportive and friendly team ethic!
You will be responsible for service existing accounts, making sure you assist the business with client retention, which includes inviting renewals, re-quote and upselling where required and the processing of mid-term adjustments & cancellations. You will also deal with new business quotes and assist with the conversion of new business, using your relationship building skills!
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person who has gained at least 2 years General Commercial insurance experience
Due to the office location, you will need to be within a 15 mile radius to Popham in Hampshire and have your own transport.
You will also need to display good numeracy skills, understand the importance of an efficient diary system, be able to pay attention to detail and accuracy and be confident and exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
You will also possess a confident telephone manner and be able to work with clients at all levels.
Salary on offer is £27-32,000 depending on skills and experience.
