Commercial Account Executive – Decent sized book to inherit!

We are currently recruiting for a well-known brand of an ambitious broking group, who now seek to appoint a Commercial Account Executive, to come on board to take over and manage an already impressive book of business, with the remit to both retain and grow this.

This book is Property focused (so you will need to know your stuff within this class of business), with a mix of other commercial risks, and currently stands at £400k income.

Full Account Handling support will also be provided, with a team of very experienced Handlers.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have at least five years commercial insurance experience in a customer facing role, ideally being at least Cert CII qualified. You will also need to be confident in dealing with an existing bank of clients as well as incoming new business enquiries of course confident in dealing with all major classes of commercial insurance – property, business interruption, liabilities, professional indemnity, etc. Experience of using Acturis would also be a bonus as they are moving onto Acturis in the next couple of months!

On offer is a basic salary of £48-52k + Car allowance and bonus potential on all new business.

Office hours are Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5:30pm, with 3 days a week in the office and the rest work from home.

Hybrid working is available, being in the office for a couple of days a week minimum, at least to start with!
