Business Development Executive (Private Medical Insurance)

A forward-thinking Insurance firm, based in Sevenoaks are now seeking to grow the PMI account with the appointment of a commercially astute Business Development Executive, who can look at growing this through sales as well as maintaining client retention.

As above you will be responsible for growing the PMI account, tasked with generating sales leads and achieving sales by creating and managing an effective sales pipeline & diary.
You will establish and maintain a close corporate relationship with key clients (as agreed with line manager) and affinities & to develop those relationships with the aim of generating organic growth, cross-selling opportunities and increased retention as well as conducting market reviews and providing non-advised quotations for clients.
We would be keen to speak to you if you have a background in PMI insurance, along with a proven track record of sales within this insurance space. You will also ideally hold the Dip CII, though will consider those with CERT CII if you have the background they are looking for!
In return, the salary on offer is up to £60k base salary depending on experience plus performance related bonus potential of 20%, plus car allowance (or company car)..
There is also a very generous benefits package on offer, which includes DC pension scheme, 12.5% employer, 5% employee contributions, life assurance cover (4 x salary), Income protection (55% of salary + pension contributions), 25 days annual holiday to start, free on-site parking as well as private health cover for employees at employer cost.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with this role being 1 day in the office a week and the rest being able to be done remotely.
