Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a well-known local insurance broking firm who are part of a larger group, who have an exciting opportunity for someone with at least 2 years commercial insurance experience to join them in their office based in Borehamwood as a Commercial Account Handler, getting to work on a nice area of business, which focuses on insurance into the cosmetics industry.
They offer a super place to work, don’t believe us just speak to the two resident office dogs, that’s if you can catch up with one of them to ask, as they can usually be seen running through the office as staff keep them entertained and both have their own little houses in the office.
The firm specialises in providing cross-class commercial (B2B) into areas such as the cosmetics industry, Dental industry and general commercial including medical malpractice cover, and are considered the go to broker in the cosmetic market!
They are seeking to recruit an ambitious insurance professional with at least 2 years insurance experience, dealing with a range of commercial Insurance risks.
You will be responsible for providing quotations, placing risks on cover, administering mid-term adjustments, and helping to develop the business by maintaining excellent customer service standards.
To be successful in this role you will need to have previous Commercial Lines Insurance experience gained in a broking role, although they may also consider those from an insurer background. You will be a great team player with good IT skills and an excellent phone manner.

Salary on offer is £28-38,000 depending on experience. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm, with 3 days in the office and 2 at home each week.
