Retentions Team Leader
Job Description
We are keen to speak to you if you have 3 years insurance experience and either already in a team leader type role or looking for an opportunity to move into your first management role.
We are currently working with an ambitious Insurance group, who have shown some impressive growth over the last few years and who are currently on an incredible business journey. They would like to join them on this journey as a Retentions Team Leader, based in their Romford office.
Their Romford office handles new, existing and renewal commercial Motor and Fleet, as well as other commercial lines and personal lines motor risks via multi product and multi distribution channels including e-trade, sub coverholder and open market brokers. They are looking for someone who understands the need to trade with their brokers and direct clients and provide a first-class service at all times.
You will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure retention targets are maximised and that best practice is adhered to when quoting and the department are working within SLA’s and agreed binding authority agreements. You will also continuously identify areas for improvement and provide potential solutions to the company and reduce costs.
You will be required to deal with the daily organisation of workloads within the Team to ensure that deadlines and SLA’s are met, supporting the Team to create an efficient, customer focused culture achieving Team service levels and objectives, assist with the Management, Training and Development of the Team, review MI, statistics, and QC feedback then providing feedback to the employees in line with company and carrier requirements and provide suggestions for change from the root cause analysis.
You will also be a referral point for risks and queries from the Team and manage and record one on one’s monthly and provide summary reports to senior management.
To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 3 year plus insurance experience, gained in a Broker, MGA or Insurer and ideally already have or be studying for your Cert CII (although this is not essential) Management experience would be an advantage but not essential.
You will also need to possess a friendly professional demeanour with the ability to excel in a trading underwriting environment.
Salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience. This firm has a hybrid approach to working. For most colleagues, this means being in the office two or three days a week and the rest of the time working from wherever is best for you and your team.
