Job Description

A well-established insurance group who has a number of sites across the UK and are a well renowned Taxi insurance specialist now seek to appoint a new Operational Risk & Compliance Analyst to be based from their Liverpool office which is situated near Sandhill train station.

 

This role would suit someone who is currently either working in a compliance role in Insurance or Financial Services, as well as someone in insurance currently who may fancy a change into a compliance/monitoring role, as the head of department will offer full training on what they need you to do. So, if you have some insurance experience and looking for a slight change of direction this role would be perfect for you.

 

An Operational Risk & Compliance Analyst ensures thorough monitoring of calls, policies and complaints that fair, consistent and good customer outcomes are achieved, internal processes are being adhered to which support customer outcomes and regulatory requirements.

 

You will be responsible for performing call monitoring reviews by listening to inbound and outbound calls to analyse and evaluate skills against established metrics and compliance and provide feedback as well as performing quality checks in line with the company policies and regulations. You will also assist in analysing results and recommend improvements and document quality issues and performance measures escalating issues to appropriate parties.

 

You will also be required to educate employees on the necessary regulations and the impact to the organisation if they are not complied with, assist the Compliance and Operations team and support them with regards to operational queries and issues and provide training, advice and support to staff on complaints and compliance to comply with regulatory requirements.

 

To be considered you will need some form of insurance product knowledge and Industry Experience/or some form of compliance experience gained in Financial Services with an excellent eye for detail.

 

You will also need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have an understanding of requirements of a customer-focused service environment as well as knowledge of basic regulatory and legislative frameworks and core insurance principles relative to the function and purpose of business operations and services provided.

 

Salary on offer is £23-27k, with 20 days holiday to start.

 

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with an hour for lunch.
