Commercial Account Executives
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for Broker who are part of a leading player in the UK insurance market now looking to add a technically strong Account Executive to their team
They have been growing exceptionally well and as part of their long-term growth strategy they are looking for an Account Executive that is capable of managing some existing accounts, currently standing around the £350-400k income level whilst adding to this.
You’ll also be assisted by the Account Handling team to ensure you deliver the high-level experience their clients have come to expect from them over the last 10+ years.
On a day-to-day basis you’ll be:
- Proactively developing a pipeline of prospects to obtain new business.
- Advising clients on renewals, managing relationships with key stakeholders and delivering outstanding service to them.
- Working with clients to expand and develop their coverage to ensure they have the right cover.
- Liaising with the broking and support team to ensure all documentation is accurate.
- Actively negotiating with Underwriters as required to secure the best terms.
- Working in a compliant and timely manner on all cases.
- Ensuring Retention levels and income targets are achieved.
- Working with the management team to achieve business objectives and support with the development of colleagues
What’s on offer:
A good basic salary of £55-65k + bonus and all the normal benefits (Pension, Death in Service etc.)

To be considered for these roles, you will ideally have a solid grounding across a range of Commercial / Corporate Insurance as an Exec, or looking to step up from a new business focused Account Handling role. You’ll be able to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels and should be used to using Word, Excel, and wider broking platforms (Acturis in an ideal world)
You should also be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels particularly board level.
Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
