Commercial Account Executive – Book to inherit!
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for Broker who are part of a leading player in the UK insurance market. They are looking to add an ambitious Commercial Account Executive to their team in Birmingham (Edgbaston), with a book of business to inherit. This broker has high standards, resulting in a retention rate of 99%, so are looking to speak to those with the same standards, always putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, making sure they are never under insured!
This role will focus on premiums of £10k plus dealing with general commercial business, working on a book of business currently standing at around the £65k commission income mark, and be tasked with managing this as well as targeting new clients to grow your client bank.
Your day-to-day role here will be to manage your existing client relationships with the assistance of an Account Handler, making sure retention levels stay high as well as developing a pipeline of new business to grow your book.
To be considered for these roles, you will ideally have at least 5 years commercial insurance broking experience in a sales focused role.
Basic salary of £35-40k + Bonuses, and all the normal benefits (Pension, Death in Service etc.)
They will also fully support your professional development (including funded qualifications)
Office Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
